The Glow in the Dark 5K Run/Walk is bound to be incredibly fun! But it’s a bit unorthodox in the part where this 5K, unlike most 5Ks, takes place at night and there will be a glow in the dark aspect. This may bring up some questions, which we have definitely heard. So here are the most frequently asked questions about the Glow in the Dark 5K Run/Walk:

  1. Are all walkers welcome?
Yes! We welcome walkers of all types to this amazing event. As a courtesy to the runners, though, we ask that all walkers remain towards the end of the starting line.
  2. Can I bring my dog?
Unfortunately, this event does not allow dogs. It must be noted that service animals are an exception.
  3. Will the 5K be timed?
The Glow in the Dark 5K Run/Walk is not timed, but, instead, provides a fun, friendly experience for participants of all ages and athletic potential.
  4. Are strollers allowed at this event?
We gladly welcome strollers as this is a family-friendly event. Like the walkers, however, we do ask you line-up towards the end of the starting line.
  5. Can friends and family attend the pre-party portion of the race?
Of course! Friends and family are welcome to encourage you throughout the race.
  6. What’s the weather policy regarding this 5K?
Participant safety is the first priority. We reserve the right to cancel any event that may be too “dangerous” to the participants. Things like strong winds, lightning, thunder, heavy rain, fire, or natural disasters.
  7. What’s the refund policy?
The Glow in the Dark 5K Run/Walk does not issue any refunds unless the following occurs: cancellation due to weather, family emergencies, medical emergencies, event cancellation, and extended wait times in lines.
